This course develops competency in common business calculations with an emphasis on solving world problems related to financial decision-making. Students learn to calculate ratio, percentage, variation, trade and cash discount, markup and markdown, payroll, personal income tax, simple and compound interest and annuity. Students perform calculations with the aid of a calculator to solve problems.
